Just kidding, I’m a woman living in Vermont who likes to lift heavy things and eat steak. I used to run half marathons and jump from one diet to another, always hoping the next plan would be the “one” to give me the body I wanted. I was plagued by injury and always obsessing about following my diet strictly, never really happy with the results.
Then about 7 years ago, I dropped the long distance running and picked up some dumbbells. I learned simple nutritional habits that fit into my life and didn’t isolate me from friends and family.
Strength training gave me confidence that I’d never had before.
I began to feel capable and proud of my physique, especially my newly developed glutes (they are the new abs after all). Now I help women discover the benefits of strength training, in person and via online training.
